Thorlákshofn golf course is located 30 minutes outside of Reykjavík near the seaside village of Thorlákshofn and is one of the few true links golf courses in the country. Keeping in harmony with the natural landscape of South Iceland, the course is situated on a sandy surface where black sandhills, small lakes, and ponds all come into play in creating this traditional course.

3. Hot Springs Course (Hveragerði)
Hveragerði has long been one of Iceland’s most popular tourist destinations due to its high level of geothermal activity and its hot spring river. The town even derives its name from the Icelandic word for hot spring: hver.

Its 9-hole golf course is located in Hveragerði’s hot spring valley surrounded by steaming vents and mountains.
